A mother's silent love. A son's unspoken debt.
This is a story about the quiet debts we owe our mothers — and how easily they get forgotten in the noise of ordinary life. It follows a mother who gives her whole self to her son's happiness, only to become, in his eyes, an inconvenience.
Ravi is an ordinary middle-class man caught between two loves: the mother who raised him, and the wife he has built a life with. Under the weight of that pressure, his sense of duty toward his mother begins to fade. He still loves her — but the responsibility feels heavier than the love. Worn down by the tension at home, Anjali and Ravi make a decision that changes everything: they move his mother into a care facility.
What follows is not a story of blame, but of reckoning. As his mother's quiet intuition and his own guilt collide, Ravi is forced to see what he'd been too tired to notice — that her love never asked for anything back. It takes her visiting him in his dreams for him to finally understand what she meant to him all along.
Two minutes that hold an entire lifetime.
